I've recently signed up for an artfire account.. it's like etsy only way cheaper. I signed up for the $7.00 a month for life account, totally beats the huge amount in etsy fees that I'm paying now PLUS they let you link to your etsy site anyways. I'm pretty excited that it's not completely over crowded yet. Don't get me wrong, I love etsy but am ready to try some new things!
Anybody else using artfire?

Some really cute stuff I scored on etsy this week!

Very awesome and well made little zombie cupcake keychain and empenada pin from www.melissahatesyou.etsy.com - make sure to notice the adorable little cheesehead she included in the note, made me smile :)

annnnd I managed to steal a bunch of super cute stationery, little clothespins, and iron ons from "nichedesigns" right before she closed. fun!

Tiger Lily. I like the life and death aspect of this one...

Weirdo looking flower I found growing by the mulch box. This was taken in complete daylight and not photoshopped or anything, I think it's totally weird how the background (a bunch of branches and sticks n stuff) ended up completely black.

Pink Rose. No spiders this time.

Blackberries!!!

Baby acorn squash! I can't wait to slather butter all over this little fucker :0)

Peppers... I *think* chili peppers. The grow up instead of hanging, not what I expected. I don't eat these but my husband does...

Cabbage is looking much more cabbage-y. I was getting worried for awhile because the leaves were staying loose but they have finally formed some nice round heads in the middle.

Remember the purple bell pepper? He is huge now. I'm gonna pick him soon. I'll try to remember to take some pics so you guys can see what his innards look like...

Mulberries? I did a little research and think these are mulberries. I'm totally confused though because of the stupid "all around the mulberry bush" song. This is a tree and not a bush.. they taste good though.

Crab apples. Ok, so these aren't really eats but I'm adding them to the eats post anyways. Nobody actually eats these things, right? The tree is pretty useless except for 4 days in the spring when it blooms and is absolutely gorgeous.

Does anybody know what these are called? My girls call them "sticky" flowers because the stems are super sticky. I have no clue what their real name is though.
